Jason McAuliffe
President and CEO
Jason has served Energy Recruiters as President & CEO since 2009. He joined Energy Recruiters in 2004 as an Executive Recruiter serving our Clients on the West Coast and Pacific Rim.
Jason is passionate about Energy Recruiters being the leader in Talent Management and Executive Search for our Clients. As an expert in the industries we serve, Jason provides counsel and strategic guidance to business owners, principals, and leadership Team executives.
Prior to joining Energy Recruiters, Jason served as a Project Manager for the Handex Group, Environmental Coordinator for Irving Oil, and a Field Biologist for the South Florida Water Management District.
Jason earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marine Biology and Marine Fisheries from Texas A&M University at Galveston in 1996.

Chris McAuliffe
Chairman Emeritus
Chris founded Energy Recruiters, Inc. after 34 years in the petroleum industry. Throughout his career, Mr. McAuliffe has displayed his ability to recruit and develop talented professionals. Utilizing his skills and extensive experience within the oil industry he began his own executive search company, Energy Recruiters, Inc.
Prior to founding Energy Recruiters he had an illustrious career, starting as a gasoline attendant while attending Louisiana State University and spending the next 22 years working his way up to President in various Tenneco companies.
When Tenneco Company dissolved in 1988, Mr. McAuliffe accepted the position of President and CEO of Golden Gallon, Inc. then moved on to Kerr- McGee Refining where he was initially responsible for their branded marketing network of over 1,400 locations,and developing a National Accounts Program. Irving Oil, a large Canadian refiner, offered Mr. McAuliffe the opportunity to oversee their U.S. Operations and later moved him to Dublin, Ireland to develop a retail-marketing network in Europe.

Loren Perez
Vice President
Loren joined ERI in 2007 as a research analyst. His determination and dedication quickly earned him the role of Executive Recruiting Consultant servicing Clients on the West Coast.
Loren’s goal is to provide his Clients with the most qualified talent in the marketplace while also providing professionals with opportunities to advance their careers. His desire and drive to be one of the best in the Industry continues to serve him as a successful Recruiter.
Prior to joining ERI, Loren had over 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He has managed projects in roles such as Lead Carpenter, Foreman, and Project Manager.

Pat Siefert
Director, Midwest & Northeast
In an effort to be closer to family, Pat made a career change and utilizes his wealth of knowledge and joined ERI in 2006. Pat has had considerable success sourcing highly qualified Candidates for roles in operations, marketing, real estate, construction, petroleum, and finance.
Pat, a Chicago native, graduated from De Paul University with a B.A. Degree in Social Science. HE began his 23 year career with 7-Eleven where he held the positions of Field Consultant, Sales Manager and District Manager. Pat was recruited as a Regional Manager with Pizza Hut and later as an Operations Manager with a regional oil company in California where he oversaw retail operations in the Bay Area and developed their entry into foodservice. 7-Eleven recruited Pat back to the organization where he held the positions of Sales & Promotions Manager and Market Manager for Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Divisions, then special projects with 7-Eleven at their corporate office where he reengineered the Inventory Control Department.
Pat strives to bring together great people with great opportunity. His philosophy of dealing with both Client and Candidate in an honest, forthright manner, coupled with the breath of his management experience, serves Pat well in facilitating mutually beneficial working relationships for both parties.

Jessica Stevens
Senior Executive Recruiter
Jessica Stevens brings over 17 years of in-house and search firm experience to the team. Jessica is a strategic leader with broad-based business acumen and expertise across a diverse spectrum of sectors including restaurants, retail, support center, energy, and logistics. She is well-versed in all aspects of executive search including proactive and confidential search strategy, market strategy, creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation, client management, and offer negotiations. The consultative approach she uses has propelled her success and solidified strong long-term relationships. Jessica has advised on C-suite talent transitions, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), and talent strategy.

Danielle Baase
Senior Executive Recruiter
Danielle joined Energy Recruiters in 2017. Prior to joining us, Danielle spent 10 successful years with a high-end supermarket progressing through roles in operations, recruiting, and training management. In an effort to broaden her professional skills, Danielle began her career as an Executive Recruiter within retail, foodservice, and energy industries. Danielle is committed to delivering superior candidates to our Clients, developing strong long-term relationships, and providing exceptional service.
Danielle earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in child development and brain and cognitive sciences from the University of Rochester. Danielle also completed two years of a PhD program in Child Developmental Psychology at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Christopher Werner

Chris came to Energy Recruiters in 2007. Prior to joining us, Chris spent the last years in Account Management and New Business Development, beginning his career as a National Account Manager for a Fortune 500 satellite communications provider in Charlotte, NC. He then had the an opportunity that allowed Chris to return to Georgia where he accepted a sales and account management position for one of the largest providers of contractor services in the nation. He was then offered a challenging sales position in the competitive and technical field of medical devices where he was responsible for the entire Southeastern Region and achieved numerous accolades for his outstanding performance.
Chris graduated from the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.

James Mathis

After studying at Georgia Southern University, James developed a career in the hospitality industry. After 15 years in management gaining valuable customer service and business development skills, James worked for a well-respected civil engineering team designing water treatment plants. He then advanced to solo design and on-site plotting, gaining valuable field experience and industry knowledge.
