Energy Recruiters has partnered with an international petroleum refiner and marketing company to support their search for a Turnaround Manager for their Illinois facility. Their state-of-the-art refinery supplies a diverse slate of products including transportation fuels, and high-quality solvents within the Midwest.

Responsibilities
Turnaround scope of work identification and approval: establish optimal work scope for the event.
Work scope preparation: manage the teams involved in detailed planning of the worklist.
Execution plan development: lead & drive the schedule optimization and development process.
Turnaround definitive estimate: lead & drive the development of cost estimate and cost control plan.
Turnaround execution and management; responsible for all activities taking place from pre-turnaround field execution, through shutdown, execution, and post-turnaround completion.
Responsible for continuous improvement turnaround management practices
Assists leadership with management meetings, and in the development of the annual turnaround budget.
Requirements
Refinery or industrial equipment maintenance knowledge
Understanding of critical path scheduling concepts
Microsoft office suite; Excel and Word.
Familiarity with SAP and Navitrack is desirable.
10+ years’ craft or industrial maintenance planning & execution in a refining environment with evidence of refinery or petrochemical turnaround management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
Strong and proven leadership and project management skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship.
